Further thoughts on reflection
Previously I have done some work with students on their own explanations on the process of reflection. You may be interested to see what they had to say in my previous Blog post.
Thanks for this Alan. Reflection constantly has this theme of positives and negatives in many of the comments. I think it is important for all performers to find this balance when reflecting, as many of us are all to easily over crtitcal. So when I reflect from a personal view point, I consciously look for positives to draw from an experience. I like the mirror imagery, it does help to clarify exactly what we are doing. I do think it can be possible to reflect too much on an experience... does anybody else agree with this? And to what extent?
